Sikhism is much close to Hinduism. In fact, it is one of the religions originated in Hindu heart land in order to cleanse evils and bigotry crept up in the Hinduism over the years .Sikhs still observe religious festival of Hindus such as Diwali and Holi. Three similarities are as follows:
1. Like Hinduism, Sikhism believes in the transmigration of the soul. Both believe that there are countless cycles of births and deaths. One can break this cycle provided they achieve mukhti (merger with God or salvation).
2. Both religion believes that Karma regulates the reincarnation ,as well as transmigration of the soul.
3.The world is just an illusion and one should eschew getting enchanted with this illusion and forgetting God.
