find the following partial derivatives ay/ax
1. y= 7x, 2.y= 2x^2-3x+7 3. -3x^-3+7/x-4x^2+100
can someone also explain to me how it works I got 0 for the 1st one, but I just want to be sure
Hi there! Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!
If we have y = 7x, then dy/dx = 7 (taking d/dx from both side)
Similarly in the second problem:
dy/dx = 4x-3
In the third problem I assume you have y=-3x^(-3)+7/x-4x^2+100, whose derivative is:
dy/dx = 9x^(-4) -7/(x^2) -8x
