Civil law:

This refers to the type of law system that is majorly concerned about
the interrelationship between people in the society and injuries that
befall someone or private cooperation. It originated from Europe and
guided by the Roman law

Muslim law:

This is a law based on the religion of Islam and it is a part and parcel
of their tradition. Its main source of reference is from the Quran and
the Hadith. It helps guide Muslims on their day to day lives and
practices more so about their faith or religion.
