1) Explain path of stimuli through the brain and how it impacts our emotions.
The brain evaluates stimuli and sends signals through the neurotransmitters. Emotions are
regulated in the limbic system of the brain by the amygdale. It has neuron populations
that process negative and positive information and send responses to the body according
to the particular emotion for example when a person is fearful the amygdale detects this
emotion and sends a response to the motor neurons for reactions and to the hypothalamus
for the release of stress hormones. These populations are intermingled so that they can
interact with each other quickly for different inputs.
2) What is Emotional Intelligence?
Is the capacity of being self aware of your surroundings, having control, and express
one's emotions, and how to manage relationships empathy.

4) Name and explain the four (4) elements of EQ.
Motivation: this is where one can establish goals and rewards to ensure that they can
perform a task knowing the fruits of completing the work.
