Brand loyalty is the tendency of consumers to continuously purchase one brand’s product
over the other available brands (Malik et al., 2013). Consumer behavior pattern demonstrates that
consumers are committed to a particular brand and will continue to buy products from the
company that has fostered a trusting relations ship (Malik et al., 2013). Companies use various
strategies to achieve brand loyalty, including the use of creative marketing strategies such as
loyalty or reward programs, trials, brand ambassadors and incentives like a free sample. Loyalty
is extremely beneficial to the company in case of a competitive market as it will lead to an
increase in production, higher revenue and customer referrals. Having loyal consumers increases
the growth of a company as it helps a business grow fast past its competitors in the marketplace.
