IPv4 versus IPv6
IPv4 refers to an internet protocol that the company, in this case, may use to assign IP
addresses the various network devices. The use of IPv4 protocol depends on the size of the
network.
Furthermore, the size of the network dictates the class of IP addresses to use. The
company, in this case, may opt to use Class B IP addresses since they can cover a vast amount of
hosts. On the other hand, IPv6 is the latest version of the IP addressing schemes that a company
can use. IPv6 came as a result of the desire to provide a solution to the problems that IPv4
