Yes, teenagers under the age of 18 should have restrictions on the hours they can work as well as
the jobs they should have. There are a lot of benefits as to why teenagers should be work part
time, for instance, to get to become independent and they also get some extra cash. However, it
is important that they are monitored. Limiting the number of hours that a teenager works is
important because it allows them to have a balance in life. For instance, they are also able to
concentrate on their studies. Working for too many hours can result in a compromise on their
adolescent energy. Teenagers should only allow holding decent jobs, for instance, jobs in a night
club would not be appropriate. The role of an HR is to check the age of the teenager and to
assign them an appropriate job according to their age and may sure that they are working for the
exact hours that they should.
