ASSOCIATIVE ADDITION PROPERTY
In an addition problem, the position of the parenthesis doesn't matter. a+(b+c)=(a+b) + c
DISTRIBUTIVE =a(b+c)= ab=ac
COMMUTATIVE ADDITION PROPERTY=In an addition problem, you can rearrange the #s because the order doesn't matter
IDENTITY property =The sum of zero and a # is that number. 5+0=5
Identity property of multiplication of 1 =the product of any # and 1 is that number5X1=5
Inverse property of addition=Every # has an additive inverse such that the # plus its inverse = 0-100+100=0
Inverse property (multiplication)Every # has a multiplicative inverse- the number time its inverse = 1
Multiplication of -1 property=The product of any # and -1 is its additive inverse2 x -1 = -2
The product of any number and zero = 04 X 0=0
