In your own words, what is the difference between CPI and PPI?

CPI is consumer price index and PPI is producer price index

CPI measures the changes taking place for household goods and services and PPI is the average change in price of domestic output of producers

CPI counts sales and taxes, while PPI do not count sales and taxes
