Part II: Based on all the readings done up to this point, what, in your opinion, are the most important characteristics that distinguish American literature? Do you think that our literature is a good representation of 'American Identity'?

This week readings have been, and they have effectively highlighted the life of the
Americans. One of the readings that I believe it resonates with me a lot would be What You
Pawn I Will Redeem, which was done by Sherman Alexie. The reading resonates with me a
lot especially the character of Jackson who I viewed as a generous, honest and ingenious
