People’s self-concept and self-esteem stand for how they see, value or vision themselves
especially when in comparison to others. Jane Elliot undertakes the eye color experiment to
determine that people develop a certain perception about themselves when treated differently due
to something they have. Self- concept, and esteem are great values that everyone should work on
strengthening, but that process is affected by the issues around the human environment. The eye
color experiment is an aspect that changes the way these children value themselves due to the
