Question description

The 2's complement representation for -2 is 111111111110, if we have 12 bits available to represent signed integers.

Is this true also? My guess is True because I think if I have 12 binary digit, I want to make sure that I must have 12 bits available to match. My concern to the question is that this has to be represent to signed integers Or 2 complement. Any explanation? I'm confusing.
