There were many change that took place in the 1920 including economic advance and improvements in technology. The strong economy heralded changes in the social life of Americans. It led to the change in the way people lived such as more people living in cities as opposed to rural America.

There was an improved economy in the era and this led to a rise in the number of affluent Americans. This affluence changed their spending. It also led to a development of a new type of woman who dressed in a more sophisticated manner and was allowed to vote.
