this is a geometry question
a line has 5 points..points V W X Y and Z from points V to Z is 52 and 20 between points X and Z. the distance between W and X is X to Y.And finally the distance between X and Y is Y to Z. sorry if this is confusing.

We know that the distance from XZ is 20, and that the distance from XY is the same as YZ. Since Y is the only point between X and Z, it means that the distance between XY = 10, YZ = 10.
We also know that the distance from WX is the same as XY. We just found that XY = 10, therefore WX = 10.
Now, since we know that V (the first point) to Z (the last point) is 52. This should be equal to the sum of:
VZ = VW + WX +XY+YZ.
We know that VZ = 52, WX = 10, XY =10 and YZ =10, so:
52 = VW + 10 + 10 +10,
which means that VW must be equal to 22 (so that 22 + 10 + 10 + 10 =52)
Finally WY is the same as the sum:
WY = WX + XY = 10 +10 = 20
WY = 20
