Description

Science uses a logical approach to answer questions and solve problems. It uses systematic observations and experiments that can be reproduced, and develops laws and theories that can be tested and verified. In contrast, pseudoscience is not supported by scientific evidence. It's a system of assertions about the natural world that claim to be scientific but, in fact, are not.

In this assignment, you will examine examples of both science and pseudoscience. Please answer the following questions

Question 1
a. The carbon cycle.
Carbon is an important component in every living thing. Carbon is found in the atmosphere, the
oceans, the plants, in soil and deeper underground. Carbon dioxide from the atmosphere is used
by plants to make their food through the process of photosynthesis. Animals feed on these plants
and through respiration, they release the carbon back to the atmosphere. When the animals die,
they decompose and when some of the carbon is produced during decomposition, the plants and
animals in the ocean through heat, pressure they become fossils and fossil fuels such as coal. The
ocean absorbs carbon from the atmosphere and release it back to the atmosphere. ...
