Ramses II and Constantine were both regarded as great leaders in the history of
kingdoms, and during their reign, the two leaders used their powers and knowledge to shape the
world’s history. The two leaders did not only influence the political side, but they had a
significant impact when it came to religion and culture of the empires they ruled. The paper is a
comparative essay that focuses on the roles that these two leaders play as military commanders,
propagandists, religious figures among other areas. At the same time, the paper also compares
Tang Empress Wu Zetian who reigned from 618-907 CE to Pharaoh Cleopatra who ruled Egypt
around 51-31 BC.

Ramses II ruled as the third pharaoh of Egypt of the 19th Dynasty marked with the
period between 1292-1186BCE. His name means the keeper of harmony and balance; he brought
peace in Egypt during his reign. According to many scholars, Ramses II is famous for being a
