             In how many possible ways can she select 9 kids out of the fourteen?

Probability of selecting one kid is1/14

the probability that the selected kid will make it to the team is 1/8*1/14=1/112

he can select in 6 difw=erent ways. 

hence it can be the first 9 or the 9 with the tenth kid etc till 9 with the 14th kid.

1/112+1/112+1/112+1/112+1/112+1/112= 3/56

i.e 3/56 ways
