If you turned your mixed number into a decimal number by dividing the
fraction part, then you would do the same thing to round. But, if you
wanted to leave your mixed number as it is, then you would look at the
numerator part of the fraction to round your mixed number to the nearest
whole number. If this numerator number is equal to or greater than half
the denominator, then you round up. But, if this number is less than
half the denominator, then you round down.
