Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

Alyzia has 4/5 yard of ribbon and it take 2/7 yard of ribbon to make a bow.

Therefor, 4/5 yard of ribbon = x*(2/7 yard of ribbon)  (Where, x = number of bows that can be made from 4/5 yard of ribbon

Therefor,

x = (4/5)/(2/7)

= (4/5)*(7/2) (multiplying by the reciprocal of the denominator)

= 28/10

= (7*2*2)/(5*2) (writing out all the multiples of the numbers in the numerator and the denominator and then cancelling the multiples that are common between them)

= (7*2)/(5)

= 14/5

= 2.8 bows (exact number of bows). However, since the number of bows cannot practically be a fraction, we can report that the number of bows that she can make from 4/5 yard of ribbon = 2 bows.

Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions.
