A car initially traveling at 90 km/hr accelerates at a rate of 2 m/s/s over a distance of 100 m. What is the velocity of the car after 100 meters?

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

As per kinematics equation,

v^2=u^2+2as

where u=initial speed =90 km/hr=90x5/18=25 m/s

a=acceleration=2 m/s^2

v= speed after 100 m run

s=100 m

v^2=25^2+2x2x100=625+400=1025

v=32.015 m/s
