Slope of a line = y2 - y1 / x2-x1

   Slope of line 1   =37- -14 / 11- -6

                            = 51/ 17.  

                             =3

Slope of line 2 =12-11/-6--3

                         = 1 / -3

                          =  - 1/3

If the lines are perpendicular the product of their slopes= -1

Here product of slopes= 3*. -1/3

                                  = -1

So line 1 is perpendicular to line 2
