First of all living things are composed of cells, they obtain and also utilize energy. Living things develop and grow. Of course, living things can reproduce. What is really important is how living things adapt to changes in their environment, in order to survive. For example if the environment a living thing was living

Became cold the animal, reptile, or insect would physically and internally change itself in order to survive.

Living things are made of single-cell organisms aand have everyeverything they need to be self-sufficient. Some living things are of course multicellular, where each cell can only perform certain functions.
