need to brainstorm how nursing is defined

Sep 4th, 2015

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

Nursing is the protection, promotion, and optimization of health and abilities, prevention of illness and injury, alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response, and advocacy in the care of individuals, families, communities, and populations whereby today nursing role is rapidly evolving as nurses are tasked with an even wider range of health care responsibilities. Caring for the sick has certainly gotten more complicated. Hospitals are understaffed. Budgets are tight.

Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions.

So do you think I should include the parts about budget and understaffing in my response

Sep 5th, 2015

Yes you can because in the past we didnt have many diseases like we do today which is making the nurses much busy and less than enough.

Ok. I also have to define what I think it will be in the next ten years. ......

In the next ten years, nursing will continue to be limitless, with boundaries only being set by the individual nurse. The definition of nursing will include evolution of the traditional nursing role to include a greater emphasis on the promotion of holistic, interdisciplinary health care.

What do you think?
