Child welfare services include a group of both private and public services that are tasked
with the responsibility of ensuring that children are safe and healthy. The service will at times
interact with families to identify the welfare of children. Poverty entailed the inadequacy of
financial resources and given the fact that people often do not mistreat children, but poverty can
lead to mistreatment and with the inclusion of other factors such as substance abuse, child labor,
social isolation, and depression. Under poor financial conditions, children suffer a lot, and this
means that child welfare services have a lot of tasks at hand in ensuring that children do not
suffer under these financial conditions. This, therefore, implies that poverty has made the
