 Coastal Medical Centre (CMC) is a licensed regional referral hospital.
 The hospital has 450-bed spaces (Harrison, 2010).
 CMC offer almost all levels of care including several tertiary care services expect neonatology and several

burn-unit services.
 Majority of the patients are those who require high-intensity services.
 The hospital was founded after the world war 11 by the Hill-Burton grant where the funds were raised locally

(Wing, 1981).
 The hospital started with 100 beds and a few acute care services and now has grown to have 450 beds and be

a tertiary medical facility.
