Despite the advantages offered through advanced data analysis, the profession has been hesitant to fully adopt the practice in crafting strategy and allocating resources. data analytics for student retention and risk scoring offer a better insight into the issue of student
attrition. It achieves this through the development of data on students with a high risk of
dropping out of school and the leading factors for attrition for better retention efforts. Predictive
