Abstract
This task will entirely entail the organizational behavior particularly that of Almarai. It is
important to note that corporate behavior is much dependent on the aspect of the organizational
conflict, regulatory power, and politics and this is what will be discussed in this paper. Some of
the elements that will be addressed in this paper will be causes of conflict and the various ways
of resolving them. Besides, the article will outline the components of a manager among other
aspects of power and politics in the organization. With the help of researches carried out by
other scholars, this paper will thoroughly analyze organizational behavior.

Introduction
Almarai is an organization in Saudi Arabia that operates in the industry of food
production. The company has specialized in manufacturing and the distribution of food and
beverage at large. Almarai was founded in the year 1977, and its headquarter is located in
Riyadh. The company deals with yogurt, bakeries, infant formula, juices, dairy, poultry, and
juices. This is the company the paper is going to evaluate in terms of the power of the
organization, conflicts in the organization and organizational politics. Organization conflict is
inevitable in every organization as far as the employees of that organization are working
together.
Organizational Conflict
Organizational conflict is a state of disagreement between individuals, groups or parties
working together. The difference may exist between individuals, unions, management, and
groups in an organization. Conflicts in the organization may take various forms. For instance,
organizational conflicts may be personal, intergroup or intragroup conflicts (Rahim et al., 2017).
Regardless of the structure of the battle exists in the organization; there must be principal causes
of these conflicts.
Causes of Conflicts
In real life, conflicts exist in every company as long as the employees in that particular
organization work together. The following are the various causes of battles as far as most of the
operational organizations are concerned;

a) Poor communication
Poor communication in the workplace is one of the primary reasons as to why conflicts
exist in most of the organization. Under this aspect, unclear exchange of information to the
employees will result in disagreement (Jones et al., 2013). The communication should be
perfected to ensure the right message gets to the right in an efficient and effective manner to
avoid organizational conflicts.
b) Unclear job roles
Unclear job roles among individuals in the workplace will alternatively result in a
collision. This vague definition of job roles will hence cause conflict amongst employees
because jobs are not allocated accordingly.
c) Poor working environment
Every employee is entitled to a conducive working environment, and in case the
management tries to interfere with this entitlement, there will be disagreement. In most cases, it
has been reported that poor working environment serves as the leading cause of conflicts in
organizations.
d) Increased workloads
Conflicts in the workplace may arise when individuals feel as if they are overloaded with
work. In this case, employees will disagree if they adequately feel that such workloads are
unmanageable.
