we start with finding the time and speed

 radius of Earth's path 

(r = 150,000,000 km) 

time = 365daysx24*3600

=31,536,000

circumference of the earth =

 c= 2rπ 
Distance= 942,000,000 km 
 speed = distance /time

942,000,000/31,536,000
SPEED = 29.87 km/s 

 OR

(1.496 x 10^11m)/(31,536,000)
