The De Quervain is a body condition signified by inflammation of tendons which
manipulate thumb functioning of the and the tendon sheathing. The syndrome leads to pain at the
external part of the wrist (Ilyas A, 2007). The pain is characteristically amplified with any
rotating or gripping movements of the wrist. Smooth movements of thumb gradually become
more challenging to make. The indicators of the disease include: burning feeling in the palm,
discomfort, and agony at the outer part of the wrist, tenderness, shudders, sporadic and
inflammation over the thumb, and trouble clutching of a fist. (Campbell & DeJong, 2005)
