the political atmosphere in the United States in the late 1920s October 29,1929, commonly
referred to as the Black Tuesday. The American stock market came to a standstill following the
economic hardships that continued to flood the country. In November 1932,a presidential
election took place. The election paved the way for Democrat Franklin Roosevelt who took over
