The goal is to get all the variables on one side, and all constants on the other.

4m+3=13-m (add m to both sides

4m+m+3=13-m+m

5m+3=13 (subtract 3 from both sides)

5m+3-3=13-3

5m=10  (divide by 5 from both sides)

m=2
