The domain and range of ANY cubic is all real numbers since any "x" value can be plugged into the cubic (there is no division by zero or square roots to worry about).

Domain: all real numbers which in interval notation is ( -infty,infty)


Range: all real numbers which in interval notation is ( -infty,infty)

increasing on an interval if, for any x1 and x2 in the 
  interval, 
x1 < x2 implies f(x1) < f(x2),
