The focus of many business organizations is to expand both the physical space they occupy and
their profits. As these companies continue to expand, they tend to open branches in other different
locations. Though the business operations will be in different regions, there is need for a centrally
based payroll systems for these organizations. This paper will be focused in explaining how such
organization in the United States can have a central payroll application whereby all the branches
can be connected via a wide area network (WAN).

Obviously, there are many changes that a business undergoes after relocation or after opening new
branches in other locations. This is because the previous architecture may fail to meet all the
