Life Cycle Phases
a. Prenatal stage
This is the first stage of the human life cycle also called the pregnancy stage. The stage takes
at least forty weeks which are divided into three trimesters. The pregnant mother needs to be
monitored through the fourth weeks since the unborn baby depends on the health of the mother
and the food she consumes.
b. Infancy stage
This stage can be combined with the toddler stage since Childhoods occurring here are the
same. This phase starts immediately after birth, the body trunk overgrows and the internal
organs. The dietary food introduced during this period is very vital for infants since they are
prone to diseases.
The childhood stage occurs between age 4 and 8. It is here that you find that the kids start
learning and adapting to a new environment. The chances of getting sick reduce and their bodies
add weight easily.
This stage can be combined with the puberty stage that begins at the age of 8 and older
adolescent which begins at 14 to 18 (Systems Development Life Cycle for Achieving
Meaningful Use, 2018). During this stage, they become sexually active, and their moods start
changing. Some may change physically by developing pimples.
This stage begins at 19 years and may extend to 40 years. During this stage, you will find that
it is when people Mary and form families.
f. Old age
This phase begins at 51 to death. At this stage, a lot of care is needed since the old develop
chronic diseases easily and they have less energy.
Indeed, of all the phases described above the most important that informaticists need to be
keen is the prenatal phase. This is because the phase involves the life of two people and a lot of
advice and follow up is needed.

informaticists will identify the gap and write down the reasons as to why the facility is not doing
After that adequate training is then conducted to the target personnel's, who need to work
on their areas. With a good assessment of needs, new policies can be generated that will foresee
the future of the organization. Through needs assessment, the staff can recognize the major
