How Do you get the inverse of y= 2/x +3?

The best method of find an inverse, is to switch the x and the y and solve for y



Switch the x and the y

x=2/y+3 (add three to both sides)

x-3=2/y  (multiply by y to both sides)

y(x-3)=2   (divide by x-3)


Thus the inverse of y=2/x+3 is

answer! y=2/(x-3)

** Let me know if the problem is really y=2x+3*
