One of the step that led the US to participate in WW II was the Nazis destabilization of Europe
by attacking European countries such as Poland and France and it declaration of war to the US.
During the conflict in Europe, the US supported the allies with other military supplies and other
assistance in 1940s. The US had also declared an economic war on countries such as japan by
freezing it assets and cutting off oil supplies. The Japanese also declared war on the US by
attacking Pearl Harbor in December 1941 where US military assets and personnel were
destroyed.
