Question Description

Watch one episode of Rick and Morty. Season 3 episode 1 might be a good one, since the video "philosophy of szechuan sauce" covers this episode and may be helpful to your answer. You can typically find a whole episode, or one episode in pieces on Youtube. If you cannot locate one episode of this show, let me know.

After watching the episode of Rick and Morty and both Philosophical Break-down videos of Rick and Morty explain the following:

  • Absurdism and nihilism can be pretty depressing, but how do the creators of Rick and Morty turn nihilistic and absurd themes into comedy?
  • Comedy is, of course, subjective. Did you think this show and it's themes were funny? Why or why not?

Tutor went the extra mile to help me with this essay. Citations were a bit shaky but I appreciated how well he handled APA styles and how ok he was to change them even though I didnt specify. Got a B+ which is believable and acceptable.
