on the state level or on the local level. These policies help in keeping peace in different

organizations and are mostly enacted to ensure that things are running efficiently. As such, these
policies are very important. One state that has laws regarding health issues in the United States in
Florida. Florida recently enacted new laws that placed additional requirements on prescribers
when prescribing controlled substances (Yampolskaya, et al. 2018). These laws were enacted in

This paper will focus on the law on controlled substance law in Florida. This law pertains the
prescribing and dispensing controlled substances. The law is based on the practices of the health
sector. The law pertains to the dispensing of pain medicine (Hockenberry, et al. 2016). For
