Public Health Preparedness
Preparing for hazards, emergencies or events that are unseen is an essential aspect in
today's world. Coordinating all efforts to achieve these goals with ease requires dedicated efforts
by all the stakeholders involved. Dealing with threats like terror scares and the overwhelming
pressure that comes with it is a prerequisite step that cannot be overlooked in this case. Since the
facility will be affected directly, it is indispensable to have the right resources in terms of health
professionals, equipment, contingency funds and a dedicated department that will be on standby
mode all the times (Mohanti, 2017). The United States has over the years committed enormous
resources in time, funds and human power to ensure that emergencies do not in any way halt the
progress of the country. The report will focus on mobilising resources going to support the
surrounding communities and how we shall realign our position to be of value to the state
(Richards, 2018). Developing a reliable and comprehensive guide towards this will be the
baseline that is going to position our facility to the outside world. Our idea is to use this scenario
to show how organisations and medical facilities ought to be in the wake of emergencies; as this
is the only way to restore hope to the affected members of the society (Mohanti, 2017) Based on
the magnitude of the terrorist activities in other countries and the damage it could bring to the
community, it is prudent to design a comprehensive report that will in a profound way look into
how the emergency will be handled and the pressure that comes with it.
