Using elimination method solve (ordered pair.. if any)

3x+7y=-1

x+7/2y=-2/3

multiply by lcm 6 the second equation

= 6x +21y=-4

hence ;

3x+7y=-1

6x+21y=-4

multiply both equations : the first  with 6  and the second with 3.

therefore;

18x+42y=6

18x+63y=-12

subtract the two equations to eliminate x

Hence; y = -2/7    x = 1/3
