Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

First, add up the length in the miles of the four days (5 5/6 + 6 3/6 + 8 4/6 + 4 1/6 = 25 1/6) (or to break it down more: 5 5/6 + 6 3/6 = 11 8/6 which is 12 2/6 + 8 4/6 + 4 1/6 = 12 5/6. 12 2/6 + 12 5/6 = 24 7/6 which is 25 1/6)

Then, to figure out the total remaining length of road that needs to be paved after the four days subtract 25 1/6 from 27 (27 - 25 1/6 = 1 1/6)

So, the amount of remaining road left that needs to be paved after the four days is 1 1/6 miles.

Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions. :)

I just noticed I added an extra + the answer is not effected but just to make sure you understand everything and get all the credit this is what it should be!

(or to break it down more: 5 5/6 + 6 3/6 = 11 8/6 which is 12 2/6.

Then, 8 4/6 + 4 1/6 = 12 5/6.

Then, 12 2/6 + 12 5/6 = 24 7/6 which is 25 1/6)

Sorry about that! I put a + when I meant to put a period!
