Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!
Yes. Countries worldwide should invest in education. This is because education enhances the human capital in an economy and hence increases the labour out put in economies. Increased investment in education in a country results to innovation, easy adoption of technology and more output in production at relatively lower costs. Ideally all levels of education should get enough government funding but considerably, elementary and high levels of education should get a bigger share because they act as the basis or root of the education sector. One of the major characteristics of third world economies has been illiteracy and this has led to backwardness in these economies. Basic education therefore reduces these illiteracy levels and even opens up peoples' ability to communicate with the rest of the world and in doing that appreciate technology. Please let me know if you need any clarification. I'm always happy to answer your questions.
Thanks for your help, am sorry the question was not completed, the remaining question is: Should the government fund education or should it be funded privately? Why? Will the opportunity costs of each type of funding be the same or will they differ? Explain. Use PPF theory and economic reasoning to support your arguments. And please if any part of the answer is from any source, please we must cite it. Thanks so much!
