Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!
Many states have laws on racial profiling but some states only have laws against racial profiling for motorists. If one feels they have been a victim of racial profiling there are a couple things they can do. They should contact the department of justice and file a complaint at the civil rights division of the department of justice. Another step is to contact a civil rights attorney to handle your case in a court of law or simply guide you through what steps to take in reporting it. There are also numerous civil rights communities that are willing to help fund racial discrimination cases if they so choose. Generally these are on a state to state basis since the attorney working at or for the communities only have the power to practice in their state.
