Individual: For the individual case project, each student will submit a case analysis report not to exceed five (5) concisely worded pages. In this report, the writer should consider the environment in which the organization operates, constructing a SWOT of relevant factors. Next, the writer should identify what problem(s) the organization under consideration is facing, paying care to detangle symptoms from underlying causes. Thirdly, the writer should suggest at least three alternative strategies that the organization in the case could undertake to move forward, and finally, identify which of the proposed strategies would be the best option, and why. Critical thinking should be evident in the output, with the student carefully evaluating the pros and cons of the final decision. The individual cases will count as 20% of the course grade.
