Question description

let's say we want to use a 2-tail test with alpha = .05. With a 2-tail test this means we would need to split the 5% in half so there would be 2.5% on the negative side and 2.5% on the positive side. This would form the cut-off areas.

For alpha = .05, 2-tail, what would be the z-score cut-off scores?

How about for alpha = .01 and 2-tail?
