Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

Islam rose due to the following factors that favoured its growth.

Economic reasons

Economic pressure was one important factor in launching campaign for conquests. Baladhuri in his Futuh al-Buldan (Conquests of Countries) tells us that before every war an announcement was made that those who want to fight in the way of Allah and those who want to benefit from war (naf’i) should join the army. Thus some joined the army to fight in the way of Allah and some for pure economic benefit.

Conquests

They fought holy wars known as jihads.they went there to convert others to Islam with the help of swords as is often alleged. In those days unfortunately there was no such discipline in modern sense as history. History was mere record of events rather than analysis of events.

Radical form of equality

The Islamic teaching went beyond all other forms of equality. Even slaves, who had no rights whatsoever, came to acquire rights. They also began to have sense of dignity. This in itself was a great revolution. Women and slaves were among the lowest rung of society and both slaves and women acquired rights and sense of dignity. Such is the case of Bilal Habashi i.e. Bilal of Habasha.

Thank you for the opportunity to help you with your question!

Islam rose due to the following factors that favored its growth.

Economic reasons

According to the historical aspect in Islam conqest was a away of ammasing propperty and improving the Islamic economies. This increased the leaders appetite to stage conquets against their weak naighbours and participate in slave trade across Africa as well. As noted"Baladhuri in his Futuh al-Buldan (Conquests of Countries) tells us that before every war an announcement was made that those who want to fight in the way of Allah and those who want to benefit from war (naf’i) should join the army"

Jihads also known as holy wars

Jihad in Islam means holy war. According to the Islamic teachings such wars were meant to coerce the non believers who were of course the non Muslims to accept the Muslim religion in order to have peace. this created fear among many people and empires and therefore converted to Muslim.

Radical form of equality in the classical case of Bilal habashi, the granting of an equal status to men with regard to the women and slaves, many felt that the Islamic religion was a modern religion based on equality for all. This made it attractive as compared to many other religions that were quite partriachal and gender biased.

I hope you found this more helpful. best me please.
