Primarily, the passage of Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act into law in 2010 sought to improve access to healthcare among different
Americans. Consequently, one of the primary effects of the PPACA has been an improvement in access to healthcare. According to research, there was a
significant increase in healthcare insurance coverage following the passage of the ACA (Courtemanche, Marton, Ukert, Yelowitz, & Zapata, 2018). In
particular, the PPACA increased the ease with which different individuals could get insurance coverage by creating some regulation in the industry that were
previously non-existent. For instance, the provision that different firms needed to invest in some form of care for their employees resulted to improved
coverage within the organizational context, which was bound to have an impact on the number of Americans under a healthcare insurance program.
Secondly, the PPACA resulted to an improvement in parity in access to healthcare in the American society (Alcala, Chen, Langellier, Roby, &
