II. Description of Presenting Problem(s)
The client (Kevin) suffers from twenty-three unique personalities which define his
Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) condition. The problem has existed since the client was
a young individual and now is a man; the problem has not dissociated. The problem has
occurred before as the client has suffered on the hand of his mother. Kevin has engaged in
solving the disorder through engaging a psychiatrist who is helping to treat the already
diagnosed disorder. The method used to resolve the problem of the client in the past includes
engaging in cognitive behavioral therapy. As it stands, the client doesn't have resources to
help address the problem. In different occasions, the client has been involved in visiting the
psychiatrist for treatment options regularly. The client decided to seek help now since he was

very impulsive that led to him kidnapping three teenage girls and also, he became very
anxious.
III. Developmental History
Since the client parents were married, it can be deduced that they were his biological
parents; therefore, the pregnancy of Kevin was planned. There were no complications during
the pregnancy as they fetus developed effectively. During the pregnancy of Kevin, the mother
had Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) which began during the last trimester of the
pregnancy. This prompted her to consume medications such as Selective Serotonin Reuptake
Inhibitor (SSRI), Anxiolytic and Antidepressants (Pomeroy, 2014). Labor and delivery were
not uneventful as they occur under the stipulated period. Kevin was born without any medical
or physical defects. During the first two years after birth, the consistent caregiver of the client
