Introduction
Dentistry is an interesting profession that purposes in offering prevention treatment of
oral-related diseases such as teeth diseases and supporting structures. People with teeth issues
such as cavity experience severe pains and require the intervention of a dentist. The dentist may
remove the aching tooth or offer alternative treatment recommendations such as root canal
treatment to the patient. Most people do not go to the dentist to consult on maintenance of their
teeth but when they have developed complications and are in great pain. Coupled these pains in
fear of what will happen to them at the dentistry when the dentist is offering treatment. However,
my experience in dentistry taught me that space plays an important role in the alleviation of fears
and anxiety among patients. From the two images discussed below, the warm colours and proper
lighting in the rooms gives a warm welcome that helps a person to connect with an environment
different from that of patients. Such experiences can help relieve some of their fears and anxiety.
