Yes, we have to presuppose the existence of God for certain (if not all things).
Science can explain the laws of nature, but can never explain why these laws are as they are.
Why are there (about) 100 elements and not 200? Why is the speed of light constant and not variable? Why does matter exist? Even if we agree that the Big Bang created all matter, how and why did the Big Bang occur?
Another important fact that needs explaining is why do humans have a moral value? We can explain how it develops but cannot explain why it is there in the first place.
Most important of all: why does man need or believe in God? Right from the beginning of time, man has believed in some supernatural power. Then , finally, there are the Holy scriptures (and prophets), which can only be explained by presupposing the existence of God who revealed these scriptures and inspired the prophets to teach man about His nature and the purpose of his/her existence.
